Ready for Winter

The creek means different things to different shareholders. But we are a Coalition, so we work together to maximize benefit to all parties!

For the City of Pacifica, the creek is the Stormwater collection and disposal system of Linda Mar, Park Pacific, Sunshine Valley and surrounding neighborhoods. The creek serves as a conduit to take winter rain water from our roofs, gutters and streets and discharges them onto Linda Mar Beach. Its important the waters in the creek can run freely enough during winter storms to not back up and flood streets and backyards and not run too fast to further incise banks, erode backyards and and undermine our town’s bridges.
